Warwick Davis is most known for his role in the hit film, Willow.  He has also starred in several of the Star Wars movies and now he takes his place in what is to be one of the greatest adaptations of all time, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone.

As promised, this interview consisted of questions submitted by fans from around the world.  Mr. Davis was certainly an asset to the Harry Potter film, and it was such an honor to speak with him.

So my fellow Muggles, without further adieu, I give you Mr. Warwick Davis.

QUESTION: How does it feel to know that you have contributed to great storytelling with "Star Wars" and "Harry Potter?" (from Joe)

WARWICK: It was a great thrill to be in these two wonderful films.  The anticipation was very high and it was just all around great to do it and be a part of the magic.

QUESTION: Whom of the adult cast did you most enjoy working with? (from "Sarah Osborn")

WARWICK: This is difficult to answer.  (pause) Because I enjoyed working with them all, they were all very wonderful.  An honor to be working with great actors such as these.  There was one scene we were filming that comes in to my mind.  We were filming the Great Hall scene.  I looked to my left, and I saw Maggie Smith, Alan Rickman and Richard Harris and then on my right I saw Robbie Coltrane.  I thought to myself, "it doesn't get any better than this."

QUESTION: Professor Flitwick is one of my favorite professors and I was wondering what your reaction was when you got the part and how it feels now that you've done the first film? (from "Kristin Potter")

WARWICK: I was very excited just to audition.  I read the first book before the movie, and my agent called and asked if I wanted to audition for a part in the movie.  I auditioned and I not only got the part as Professor Flitwick, but also as one of the goblins.  I wanted to kiss my agent.  I enjoyed the part so much.  Flitwick was such a great character that I actually wanted to sit down and talk with Flitwick myself.

QUESTION: Are you a big Harry Potter fan?  Did you read the books before you got the part? (from "Claire")

WARWICK: I read the first one before filming.  I thought it was great.  After the film I read the rest of the books.  They were so magical.  I talked to my family and friends in to reading them.  The books were so vivid it was like playing a movie in your head.  Im such a huge fan now.

QUESTION: How did you get the part(s) in Harry Potter?  Did you have to audition? (from "Dahly")

WARWICK:  I heard that there was a Harry Potter movie going to be filmed.  I talked with my agent and I was joking, wondering if there were any parts in the movie.  Later I got the parts.

QUESTION: Did any of the child stars of Harry Potter, and not necessarily the main characters, target you in any of their pranks?  I've heard they pulled some pretty mischievous stuff! (from "Milly V")

WARWICK:  I wasnt the victim of any pranks.  They didnt seem to be mischievous.  The children were very professional and enjoyable to work with.

QUESTION: Are you planning on keeping your role(s) in "The Chamber of Secrets"?  If so, when do you start filming? (from "Chase Hilton")

WARWICK: Yes.  I know the Chamber of Secrets starts filming November 19th, 2001.  I begin filming my part on January 14, 2002.

QUESTION: Mr. Davis, you must have put on tons of make-up.  What was the longest time you spent in the make-up room on the set of Harry Potter? ( from "Monisha")

WARWICK: Average about 4 hours.  When I had to have the goblin makeup, it was about the same time only I had to wear contacts and dentures.  I spent quite a lot of time in the makeup chair during filming.

QUESTION: Who is your favorite bad guy in the books? (from "Silver Eyes")

WARWICK: I really liked Sirius Black (when he seemed bad).  The way it was leading, it was developed very good.  The Dementors were also cool.  I cant wait to see what the Dementors look like on film.

QUESTION: Did you get a chance to meet JK Rowling?  If so, what was she like? (from "Dania")

WARWICK: I didnt meet her during filming.  I met her at the premiere.  I asked her how well was Professor Flitwick portrayed on screen.  And she said that I portrayed it well.

QUESTION: JK Rowling gave some of the cast members some extra information on their characters, did you get to learn anything new abotu your character? (from "Jordan Lundberg")

WARWICK: I didnt get any information, except for the first name.  I learned his first name is Filius.

QUESTION: What was it like working with Daniel Radcliffe?  Did you get to know him?  How about Rupert Grint and Emma Watson? (from "Ashley Manus")

WARWICK: They were all pleasant children.  They were well-behaved professional.  They knew their lines and for children, they seemed to do their parts very well.  They fit in to the cast perfectly.  Cant say more really.

QUESTION: Did you like the final outcome of the film?  Are you looking forward to the next movie? (from "Nicole")

WARWICK: I liked how the film turned out.  It exceeded my expectations.  I knew the film was going to be good but not this magical.  I could have watched it again after the first time.  It was very emotional.  I even teared up during a few scenes.  It was a huge honor and I am grateful that I got to be in such a wonderful film.
